Explore Negril's White Sandy Beaches

 

Negril is located on Jamaica’s West Coast and is a paradise for tourists with miles of sandy beaches, shallow coves, and tranquil turquoise waters. Seven miles beach

One of visitor’s favourite activities is riding a horse around the beach at sunset; one of our favourite things to do in Negril, Jamaica is walking our small beachfront cafe at Seven Mile Beach. Unsurprisingly, the first item on everyone’s Negril bucket list is sitting on a beach chair on Seven Mile Beach, with a cold beverage in hand, an umbrella included. No matter where you are in Negril, Montego Bay, or beautiful Ocho Rios, Floyds Pelican Bar is worth the trip, serving up some of Jamaica’s best street food with a jovial atmosphere. You will enjoy having a nice spot for drinks and dancing as the sun goes down, making it one of the funniest things to do in Negril if you are the party-drinking type.

The only thing more epic than a pub crawl is One Love Bus Bar, where you get to check out the numerous local bars along One Love Drive in Negril. Whether you are a beach-loving type or an adventurer, there is no shortage of interesting things to do in Negril, Jamaica. The spellbinding white sands of Seven Mile Beach make up half of the gorgeous coastline in Negril that extends for as far as the eye can see. Also known as Seven Mile Beach, this gorgeous expanse of soft white sand and blue-green ocean views many of Negril’s hotels and resorts, making it one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.

Sports

Long Bay Beach Park, located alongside famous Seven Mile Beach and its white sand, is one of the more fun places to visit in Negril. Paragliding on Negril Beach is one of Jamaica’s best activities. The captains of these glass-bottomed boats are found throughout Negril’s beaches, making this one of the city’s most popular activities. The main attraction in Negril is its seven-mile-long beaches, so you can indulge in diverse types of water sports either in your hotel or at various independently owned on-the-beach tour operators. While you cannot participate in every single event, you will love every minute you spend exploring this small paradise, enjoying the journey of rainforests, beaches, mangroves, crocodile pools, coral beaches, mineral springs, and all the places unique to Jamaica.

You can start at Margaritaville and cruise along Negril’s shoreline for some quality time with friends and family, book a room at Beaches Negril and enjoy a seaside seafood stew or at their popular Sushi Bar soy. Seafood lovers can go to Bongo’s restaurant in the Sandy Haven resort area of the Negril Beach hotel area. While it is possible to get there on a kayak, most guests get there on one of the glass-bottomed fishing boats that are a signature feature in Negril.

When you are in Negril, make sure you check out Seven Mile Beach, Mayfield Falls, and the Blue Hole Mineral Springs. There are plenty of Negril tours combining attractions like the Kennedys Falls, the Heyhe Safari Park, and Appleton Rum tours. Heihe Wildlife Park is in Jamaica’s south shore, approximately 2 hours from Negril.
